Mission Statement:

The mission of AIST is to provide the highest quality and most affordable safety, health, and environmental consultation services to businesses and citizens in the state of Kansas as it relates to general occupational safety/workplace safety, construction safety, environmental safety, and to provide the highest quality of employer representation during OSHA enforcement activities and during OSHA inspections in General Industry, Construction, Maritime, and Agriculture.

AIST seeks to provide all businesses and citizens in the State of Kansas with an informed and educated safety, health, and environmental consultation service experience to ensure all businesses and citizens have a voice regarding workplace safety, and environmental health, and a voice during OSHA enforcement activities and during OSHA enforcement inspections.

AIST seeks to be a Government Watchdog over OSHA in the State of Kansas and to conduct research by collecting OSHA enforcement activity data to analyze workplace safety trends, monitor compliance with federal and state occupational safety regulations, and provide insights to stakeholders, including employers, policymakers, researchers, and the public, on a county-by-county basis in Kansas. The data supports efforts to improve workplace safety, inform policy decisions, and enhance transparency regarding OSHA enforcement activities.
